Cinderella

Reviewed by Nora Gift

This is Nora’s second guest review. A special needs young lady, Nora graduated from the Denver School of the Arts, is on her fourth year taking dance from Debbie Stark, and participates in Special Olympics in ice skating and gymnastics. This week she began teaching at Dance Kaleidoscope, as Janet Pantin’s assistant in a class for young special needs students. Nora Lives with her incredible family: her Mom and Dad: Marsha and Andy, her brother, Joseph, sister Emma, one of my favorite dogs Jack (second only to my two), and the newest member of the family Joe’s very active entertaining kitten, Molly. Knowing she was going to write her own review, Nora announced with adult authority after the performance, “Cinderella is magnanimous.” What more needs to be said? She’s a prize, a gift of pure gold.

My review is about the story of Cinderella. I like when the lights are all covered everywhere. And I like the actresses because they are great. One of the actors I really like is the Prince. The Stepmother talks really loud and speaks so good. The Stepsisters were good. And the King was great, and the Queen was really good too.

Cinderella was fantastic because when she was sweeping and cleaning up, and making the tea ready, it made me feel happy to watch her dance and sing.

The costumes were very pretty and very cute too.

Also I like the dancing part. It was wonderful! I liked it when he put one hand on her side, and she had one hand on the Prince’s back. The dancing and the singing were amazing together.

I think everybody should go see Cinderella. It doesn’t matter how old you are.
