Holly Bartges
We have set up a donation fund in Holly's name. The donations will go towards Holly's funeral expenses and any excess will be donated in Holly's name and memory to The Humane Society of the South Platte Valley, which strives to adopt animals out rather than euthanize them.
Holly loved animals so much that we thought that it was a fitting charity to endorse.
You can donate by visiting paypal.com and using the email address hollybartgesdonationfund@gmail.com .
If you need an invoice you can let Maggie Stillman or Gloria Shanstrom know. There is no minimum donation, please take a moment to donate what you can and then share this status. Thank you for all of your support and love for Holly.

There are no words in the English language capable of containing the impact of this news:
Holly Bartges is gone.

Holly Bartges, who reviewed plays in the area for well over a decade, passed away this week. With her red hair and glossy fingernails, she was a familiar figure to Denver theatergoers -- though no one seemed to know exactly how long she'd been reviewing, or much about her background.
Blondes are noticed, but red heads are never forgotten.

Read what her friends are saying - and post your own thoughts at Holly's Facebook page. She's reading them on a cloud sitting next to her beloved pets.
Holly Bartges, long-time critic and theater advocate passes away.
by Deb Flomberg
The theater community felt quite a blow this week with the passing of long-time theater critic, theater advocate, and fiery red-head, Holly Bartges. Bartges has been a staple in the Denver theatre community for more than a decade, providing reviews, news, and sometimes just a friendly smile or a hug for everyone that steps on or near a stage in Denver.
